The Christian Social People's Party Upper Valais (CSPO) is a political party in the German-speaking part of the canton of Valais .

Today the CSP Oberwallis is the second strongest political force in Oberwallis. She stood in the last municipal council elections in 2016 in 21 of the 29 voting proportional communities with their own lists and has positions in Agarn (3 seats), Ausserberg (3 seats), Ergisch (4 seats), Leuk (4 seats), Staldenried (3 seats) and Steg-Hohtenn (3 seats) the council majority. In addition, it is with three councilors in Raron and Salgesch , with two councilors in Gampel-Bratsch , Leukerbad , Ried-Brig , Saas-Almagell , Saas-Fee , Saas-Grund , Termen, Turtmann-Unterems , Varen , Visp and Zermatt as well as with represented by a local council in Brig-Glis , Naters and St. Niklaus . The CSPO is not a section of the CSP Switzerland , but belongs to the CVP Switzerland .
