Cima (also Cima di Porlezza ) is a fraction of the Italian municipality Porlezza in the province of Como , Lombardy region .

geography

The place is located on the northern shore of Lake Lugano on the state road 340 between Cressogno and Porlezza and has a few hundred inhabitants.

tourism

The picturesque little place directly on Lake Lugano offers a bar, a bakery, a small supermarket and a pizzeria in the village center.

traffic

A bus connects Cima almost every hour during the day with Lugano (Switzerland) and Menaggio ( Lake Como ), the excursion boat from Lugano to Porlezza does not stop in Cima.

A walk of about 15 minutes leads to the pilgrimage church Santuario della Caravina in Cressogno.
