The Communauté d'agglomération du Pays Rochefortais is a former French Association of Local Authorities ( Communauté d'agglomération ) in the Charente-Maritime and the region Poitou-Charentes . It was founded on December 24, 1993 as Communauté de communes du Pays Rochefortai. On December 23, 1999, the Communauté de communes was transformed into a Communauté d'agglomération with effect from January 1, 2000.
In 2014, the community association was transferred to the successor organization Communauté d'agglomération Rochefort Océan .
