The Communauté de communes du Val de Cher is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the department of Allier in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . Historical development

With effect from January 1, 2016, the former municipalities of Givarlais, Louroux-Hodement and Maillet merged to form Commune nouvelle Haut-Bocage . In the same year the municipality of Saint-Vitte left the municipal association and switched to the Communauté de communes Berry Grand Sud .

location

The association of municipalities is located on the upper reaches of the Cher River, about halfway between the towns of Bourges and Clermont-Ferrand .

landscape
