The current building complex below the Morgenleithe is from an earlier Vorwerk of the district town of Schwarzenberg / Erzgeb. emerged, which was later used by the Bockau forest ranger's office. The hunter's, forest guard's and forester's house was used as a simple bar as early as 1839, from which a forest inn emerged and was visited by many day-trippers, especially from the direction of Lauter . The inn was closed at the end of the Second World War and the building was used as a forestry apprenticeship training center until 1957, before a company holiday home moved there, which was closed in 1990. A forest school home of the Sachsenforst state enterprise, Eibenstock forest district emerged from the building. There are u. a. also carried out forest youth games.

Above Conradswiese, in the forest, lies the watershed between the Zwickauer Mulde in the west and the Schwarzwasser in the east. Not far from there is the watering trough. The Alte Jägerhäuser Weg leads to Jägerhaus in approx. 3.5 km .
