history

On January 20, 1855, the corps was founded under the name Agronomia in Freising . At that time, the technical principle still prevailed and only students of the agricultural college could acquire membership. In the years after the founding of the old manor, this consisted mainly of landowners and ministerial officials from the agricultural sector. In May 1905, Agronomia relocated from Freising to Munich, giving up the technical principle.

From 1913 to 1930 the Corps was a member of the Rudolstadt Senior Citizens' Convention (RSC), where it formed the Black Cartel with Saxonia Berlin, Ottonia Bonn, Palatia Halle, Agraria Bonn and Agronomia Königsberg . In the winter semester of 1929/30, the Corps accepted the former members of the German-Völkisch Armed Forces Austro-Bavaria Munich. In 1934 the RSC became part of the Weinheim Seniors Convent (WSC). Like all corps, Corps Agronomia was forced to cease operations from 1935 to 1949 and in this context also lost its house in Schwabing.

In 1954 a large part of the old rule of the former cartel corps Palatia Halle was taken up. Four years later, the amalgamation of the Corps was renamed Corps Alemannia. Alemannia has no connection to the previous Munich corps with the name Alemannia. The Corps Alemannia Munich has had a friendship relationship with the Corps Alemannia Kiel since 1954 . The relationship with the Corps Agronomia Hallensis in Göttingen , which was sealed in 2008, was also transformed into a friendship relationship in 2011.
