Cvijetin Mijatović
Cvijetin Mijatović (born January 8, 1913 in Lopare , Austria-Hungary , † 1993 in Belgrade , Federal Republic of Yugoslavia ) was a Yugoslav politician of the Union of Communists of Yugoslavia (BdKJ) .
biography
Mijatović was initially from March 1967 to 1969 secretary of the central committee of the BdKJ of the Socialist Republic (SR) Bosnia and Herzegovina and thus party leader of the republic. In 1970 he became a member of the Presidium of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (SFRY) as representative of Bosnia and was a member of this body until 1984.
From May 15, 1980 to May 15, 1981 he was Chairman of the Presidium and nominally President of the SFRY. He was succeeded in this office by Sergej Kraigher .
