Dahnsdorf is a district of the community Planetal in the Potsdam-Mittelmark district in Brandenburg . The place belongs to the office of Niemegk .

Dahnsdorf is located in Hohen Fläming, about four kilometers northwest of Niemegk and seven kilometers southeast of Bad Belzig . Surrounding villages are belonging to the town of Bad Belzig district Preußnitz in the north, Mörz in the Northeast, the city Niemegk in the southeast of the municipality Rabenstein / Fläming belonging community town of Neuendorf in the south, which belongs to Niemegk district Lühnsdorf in the southwest, Kranepuhl in the West as well as the City of Bad Belzig in the northwest.
The district road 6927 runs through Dahnsdorf itself. The federal road 102 from Bad Belzig to Jüterbog runs immediately northeast of the village. The federal motorway 9 runs southeast of Dahnsdorf, the nearest junction of which is Niemegk , about three kilometers away.
The tarpaulin flows south of Dahnsdorf near the motorway .
history
Dahnsdorf was first mentioned in 1227 as Danestorp . The Compthurey Dahnsdorf is mentioned for the first time in 1575 . The place name is derived from a personal name and means village of Dan . In 1591 Dahnsdorf had 55 hooves .
Since Dahnsdorf was already a church village when it was first mentioned, the Dahnsdorf village church was probably built shortly beforehand. The church is a field stone building . The altar of the church dates from the Baroque period. There is also an - incomplete - triumphal cross group in the church .
Dahnsdorf has always belonged to the Kingdom of Prussia and was located there in the administrative district of Potsdam . On July 25, 1952, the community was assigned to the then newly formed Belzig district in the Potsdam district . After reunification , Dahnsdorf was in the Belzig district in Brandenburg and joined the Niemegk office on February 11, 1992 . After the district reform in Brandenburg on December 6, 1993 , the community finally came to the newly formed district of Potsdam-Mittelmark . On June 1, 2002, Dahnsdorf was merged with the previously independent communities of Kranepuhl , Mörz and Locktow to form the new community of Planetal .
