Roland Dalhauser
Roland Dalhäuser (born April 12, 1958 in Birsfelden , Canton of Basel-Landschaft ) is a former Swiss athlete specializing in the high jump discipline . He was European Indoor Champion in 1981, and in the same year he was voted Swiss Sportsman of the Year . It has held the Swiss record since 1981.
The trained toolmaker later received further training in the commercial area and now runs a retirement and nursing home. Dalhäuser is married to Sonja and has three grown children.
