Dana Brožková

Dana Šafka Brožková (born April 28, 1981 in Rovensko pod Troskami ) is a Czech orienteer.

Career

In 2001 she was Junior World Champion over the long distance in Miskolc , Hungary and won the silver medal in the relay competition with the Czech team.

With her Swedish club Domnarvets GoIF , she won the 2008 Venla relay race in Finland. In 2008 she became world champion over the long distance. In 2006 she won a bronze medal in this competition. In 2010 she won her first medal at the European Championships in Primorsko with silver. In 2011 in Savoie, France, she won silver at the World Cup over the long distance and silver with the Czech relay.

She lives in Prague and occupied at the Charles University , a post-graduate studies in the fields of biology and genetics . Her sister Radka Brožková is also an active orienteer.
