Svetlana Nikolajewna Mironowa ( Russian Светлана Николаевна Миронова ; born August 20, 1986 in Gorky, now Nizhny Novgorod ) is a Russian orienteer .

career

After her European championship debut in 2010, Mironova won the European championship title in the relay in 2012 with Natalja Efimowa and Tatiana Ryabkina . She had previously finished seventh in the sprint. At the 2012 World Championships in Switzerland, the Russian women's relay reached fourth place with Mironova.

In 2014 Mironowa became vice European champion in the long distance behind Judith Wyder from Switzerland in Palmela . Almost three months later she won the world title in the long distance ahead of Tove Alexandersson from Sweden and Judith Wyder.

Mironowa starts in Russia for the SDUSHOR association and internationally for SoIK Hellas from Stockholm .
