Daniel rocket seal
Daniel Rakete Siegel (born July 29, 1980 in Cologne ) is a German film director .
Life
After studying Japanese studies , philosophy and German studies at the University of Cologne from 2002 and working as a freelance graphic designer , he studied film directing at the international film school in Cologne from 2004 to 2007 .
His graduation film Ein Fall für KBBG - a parody of the youth book series Ein Fall für TKKG - celebrated its world premiere at the short film festival Vienna Independent Shorts .
Since 2007 Siegel has worked as a director and author a. a. for the federal government , for which he produced the spot “European values child's play” .
As an actor, he played the lead role in the commercial Fakir , which received the First Steps Award in 2008 .
Together with Christopher Becker, he wrote and directed the web series Highroller and Tank with Daniel Wiemer , Raphael Rubino , Anna Angelina Wolfers and Hans-Martin Stier in the leading roles from 2008 to 2010 . The viral spot “Schalenklau” for the company PayPal was also created from the collaboration , which was seen over two million times on the Internet and broadcast in Zeigler's wonderful world of football , the sports show and in the current sports studio .
In 2015, the 6-part television series Im Knast developed by him ran on ZDFneo . Denis Moschitto and Manuel Rubey played the leading roles, and guest stars Anke Engelke and Max Giermann .
