Daniela März (born March 4, 1971 in Tegernsee ) is a German actress .

Life

Daniela März completed her acting training at the Central School of Speech and Drama and at the Arts Educational Drama School in London from 1997 to 1999 . In addition, she attended workshops in camera training and representation in London and Berlin . She also took classical singing lessons .

At the beginning of her career as an actress there were theater engagements . From 1999 to 2005 März was a permanent member of the ensemble at the Saxony-Anhalt State Theater in Lutherstadt Eisleben . In the 2005/06 season she continued to appear there as a guest. She played the classic roles in her field at the theater, where she was mainly employed as a theater actress in the role of adolescent lover, but also as a saloon lady and character actress. Her most important theater roles were Nora in Nora or Ein Puppenheim by Henrik Ibsen , Marguerite Gautier in Die Kamelliendame by Alexandre Dumas , Klytämnestra in Elektra by Sophocles and the Miller in Kabale und Liebe by Friedrich Schiller .

She has also appeared in various roles, both large and small, in plays by Alan Ayckbourn , George Bernard Shaw , Johann Wolfgang von Goethe , Jean Genet and Anton Chekhov . She also took on roles in children's theater and musicals .

March worked for Bayerischer Rundfunk 2009 in the German-Korean coproduction Der Yalu flows with the role of Alice Seyler. In this film adaptation of a true life story, she plays a professor's wife who, together with her husband, promotes the young Korean writer Li Mirok .

Became famous for March mainly due to the continuous series lead role of Maria Kirchleitner (later Maria Brunner) in the BR - television series home is at home , they 2007-2012 on the side of Bernhard Ulrich and Brigitte Walbrun played.
