geography

Dargezin-Vorwerk is located 2 kilometers north of Dargezin and 3 kilometers northwest of Kölzin . At the border to the north-eastern neighbor Sanz Hof III there is a compact stone block along the border.

history

Dargezin-Vorwerk was first mentioned in 1774. In accordance with the size of the Dargeziner estate, a farm was created two kilometers from the estate. From here the surrounding arable land was cultivated in order to avoid the long drives to the main estate. After 1900 it was the so-called dairy farm at Gut Dargezin, because cattle breeding was moved here due to favorable conditions (pastures).

It has belonged to the von Behr family since the plant was started as a Vorwerk . See main article Dargezin .

In 1940 the so-called “radio tower” facility at the fork in the road Dargezin-Vorwerk - Hof Hartenbach-Kölzin was created for the Wehrmacht about 600 meters east of the village . This was a radio system with a crew of around 20 Wehrmacht members who belonged to the Tutow airfield .

The LPG Type III Dargezin with Vorwerk and Fritzow was founded around 1960 and was given the name " Florian Geyer ". In the 1970s, the arable land came mainly to LPG (P) Gützkow, but the stables, meadows and arable land for fodder production remained in the LPG (T) Dargezin and were only later added to LPG (T) Gützkow. During these times, 800 bulls were stabled in Vorwerk. The company was privatized after 1990.

Dargezin-Vorwerk was part of the Bandelin community until 1946 and joined the Kölzin community on August 1, 1946. On May 25, 2014 Dargezin-Vorwerk was incorporated into the city of Gützkow.
