content

The lyrics to Darum Leben wir is in German. The music was written by Florian Fischer , Sebastian Kirchner and Adel Tawil , the text by Heike Kospach. Musically, the song moves in the area of soul and pop music .

In an interview with “Hip Hop Jam Magazin” Steen explained how the title came about. She found that too many people, especially teenagers, were wondering why they were even alive. Your answer is that everyone should actually make sense of themselves. Nobody should run around conceited, but tell themselves, I made a mistake and I really want to make sure that it doesn't happen again. She thinks that if you accept yourself and start loving yourself, we would feel a little better. Children in particular could learn how to keep your head up even in difficult situations. Steen believes that everyone is responsible for changing something and looking after their future.

“And that's why we live.
We live to be there,
life to be true.

And that's why we live.
And we take everything with us,
every pain and every happiness, in
the world. "

- Refrain, original excerpt
