Datzu

Datzu was a German music group from the GDR . It was founded in 1984 and dissolved again in 1989.
Band history
After Neumis Rock Circus was dissolved , Rainer Oleak (* 1953) ( keyboard ), previously with Neue Generation , founded the band Datzu in 1984, which appeared as Nanu as the companion band of Frank Schöbel .
Other founding members were:
- Ulrich Werfel (* 1959), ( bass guitar ), formerly with Marathon , Baff , later Tutti Paletti
- Frank Schirmer (* 1958), ( drums ), formerly Caravan , later to Stern Meißen
- Günter Fischer (* 1952), ( guitar ), early Reform
- Ines Paulke (1958-2010), ( vocals ). In 1986 she got out to start her solo career. As a replacement for Ines Paulke came briefly
- Anke Schenker (* 1963) joined the band as a singer. At that time, Oleak reformed the band.
- Peter Lorenz (* 1954) ( percussion , saxophone ), formerly with Bajazzo and Michael Hansen ; Lorenz joined Datzu in 1985
- Stefan Schirrmacher (* 1955) (guitar), previously with Pilot , Neue Generation and Neumis Rock Circus
- Ingo Politz (* 1959) (drums), formerly Keks and Neumis Rock Circus
- Peter Rasym (* 1953) (bass guitar), formerly Stern Meißen , later Puhdys
- Anett Kölpin (* 1963) replaced Anke Schenker as singer in 1986
In 1989 the band broke up.
