Scientific achievements

The eminent dentist was the author of numerous dental publications. One of the most important of these is: The multi-volume edition Praxis der Zahnheilkunde, published in three editions with Lorenz Hupfauf , Werner Ketterl and Gottfried Schmuth and translated into all world languages . It is one of the standard dental works worldwide that encompasses the entire range of dentistry,

In addition, Haunfelder published extensively in German and foreign journals. He was also a pioneer of the internal breakdown of the individual fields of dentistry, which was first introduced at the University of Münster and later also practiced at other universities : prosthetics, surgery, tooth preservation and orthodontics.
