David Midthunder
David Paul Midthunder (born August 8, 1962 in Fort Peck Indian Reservation , Montana ) is an American actor , stuntman and voice actor .
Life
Midthunder was born on the Fort Peck Indian reservation in Montana, but grew up in New Mexico . He attended Stewart Indian School in Nevada . He later studied cultural anthropology in Salt Lake City at the University of Utah in the state of the same name . Midthunder practices Lakota culture and is a member of the Fort Peck Indian Reservation. He is married to the stunt woman Angelique Midthunder . The two have a daughter, actress Amber Midthunder . He and his daughter appeared together in 2001 in The Homecoming of Jimmy Whitecloud , in 2002 in Deadly Species and in 2004 in the short film Reservation Warparties , which premiered on November 8, 2004 at the American Indian Film Festival.
Midthunder has been a film actor since the mid-1980s. He has played the role of Native American in a number of films and television series. But he also played other roles. In 2009 he had supporting roles in Terminator: Redemption and in the Terence Hill films Doc West - Nobody Is Back and Doc West - Nobody Strikes Back that same year. In 2013 he was a stuntman in an episode of the television series Longmire , and in 2016 in an episode of the television series Westworld . He later played a supporting role over several episodes in both television series.
