David Wilmot (* 20th century in Dublin ) is an Irish actor with over 60 roles in theater, film and television.

life and career

David Wilmot, born and raised in Dublin where he also attended Newpark Comprehensive School, has played numerous roles in Irish films or in British or American films with an Irish background. In addition to his work in film and television, David Wilmot also works for the theater. His repertoire includes performances at the Abbey Theater in Dublin , As You Like It with the Druid Theater Company in Galway and Juno, and Paycock in London's West End. He also played roles in Stratford-upon-Avon in 2001, the Barbican Center in 2002, and then joined the 2006 off-Broadway Atlantic Theater Company production that was later broadcast on Broadway . It was in 2006 for his role in the play The Lieutenant of Inishmore for the Tony Award nominated for best performance of a leading actor, additional nominations he received the Drama League Award for excellence and the Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Actor in a piece.
