Dejana Košarac (born July 25, 1994 in Sarajevo ) is a Bosnian biathlete and cross-country skier .

Dejana Košarac lives in Pale and starts for the local Ski Klubb Romanija Pale . Between 2010 in Torsby and 2015 in Minsk she took part in five Junior World Championships, only in 2014 she was not part of the Bosnian squad in Presque Isle . In all of her participations she competed in the individual as well as in the sprint, for the pursuit race she could only qualify as 59th in 2010, but did not take part in the race. The worst placement was a 77th place in the sprint in Obertilliach in 2013 . In 2011 in Ridnaun and 2012 in Osrblie , she also took part in junior races at the European Biathlon Championships and achieved results similar to those at the Junior World Championships. In addition, Košarac started in the junior races of the Summer Biathlon World Championships 2011 in Nové Město na Moravě and the Summer Biathlon European Championships 2011 in Martell . Especially in Martell she came in noteworthy places with ranks 16 and 14.

Her first women's race was Košarac in 2009 in Ridanna, where she was 88th in a sprint. In the further course of the season she was able to win points for the first time as 33rd in a sprint in Haute-Maurienne . In 2011 she achieved her best performance so far with a 21st place in a sprint in Bansko . Her first international championship among women was the 2015 European Biathlon Championships in Otepää . Košarac finished 64th in the individual and 68th in the sprint.

Košarac has competed internationally in cross-country skiing since 2010, initially racing in the Balkan Cup and FIS races . In Fiemme Valley she took part in the Nordic World Ski Championships in 2013 and was 99th in the 10-kilometer freestyle. A few days later she also started at the Balkan Championships in Kruševo , where she won bronze medals in the 5 and 2.5 kilometer freestyle behind Tanja Karišik and Panagiota Tsakiri . In the 2016/17 season she won her first victories in the Balkan Cup in Metsovo and Mavrovo over 5 km freestyle and reached fifth place in the overall standings at the end of the season. At the Nordic World Ski Championships 2017 in Lahti she came in 69th place in the sprint.
