Based on the biography of Michael Jürgs , the life path of the publisher Axel Springer is highlighted from the early post-war period with the licensing of his first paper, the introduction of the Bild newspaper , the takeover of the Ullstein publishing house , the visit to Khrushchev in Moscow in 1958, the construction his high- rise publishing house on Berlin's Kochstrasse , the APO -Zeit, and the attack on his Hamburg publishing house in 1973 until shortly after the suicide of his son Axel Springer junior in January 1980.
