Deubach is one of twelve districts of Lauda-Königshofen in the Main-Tauber district , the northernmost district of Baden-Württemberg .

geography

The village of Deubach is just under three kilometers east of the center of Königshofen as the crow flies in the small valley of the only inconsistently water-bearing Deubach , which runs south to the Tauber tributary Balbach . The at an altitude of about 255- 275  u m. NHN- standing houses in the place with about three dozen house numbers are lined up on the narrow valley floor on both sides of road K 2800, under overgrown former vineyards on the eastern and small trees on the western slope of the valley.

In the district of Deubach is also almost two kilometers north of the village at 354.3  m above sea level. NHN also the hamlet of Hof Sailtheim with less than half a dozen house numbers in the middle of fields on the plateau.

history

Deubach was first mentioned in a document around 1090.

On January 1, 1972, Deubach ( Mergentheim district ) came to the city of Königshofen together with Messelhausen and Sachsenflur ( Tauberbischofsheim district ). In the course of the municipality reform in Baden-Württemberg, the city of Lauda-Königshofen was again formed on January 1, 1975 from the two cities of Lauda and Königshofen and other formerly independent municipalities. In contrast to all other districts in Baden , Deubach was previously part of the Württemberg district of Mergentheim.
