The company - The Ministry for State Security is a documentary by Christian Gierke from 2007.
The film documents the work of the Ministry for State Security of the GDR and shows, among other things, the headquarters of the Ministry in Berlin-Lichtenberg , district administrations for state security in Chemnitz , Dresden , Halle , Rostock , Leipzig and Magdeburg , pre-trial detention centers of the State Security in Berlin , Erfurt , Dresden and Rostock and the special prison of the State Security Bautzen II .
Also shown are the bunker of the Leipzig district administration (alternative guide point) in Machern , the forest settlement near Wandlitz / Bernau , the Marienborn border crossing point , the MfS university in Golm near Potsdam , the Dynamo sports association , planned isolation camps in Reinharz and Augustusburg as well as the secret execution site of the GDR in the prison in Leipzig .
