The honeymoon ( alternative title: A pain in the ass against everyone ) is a German comedy film with Dieter Hallervorden and Liselotte Pulver in the leading roles. It was shown for the first time in German cinemas on August 22, 1969.
action
After seven years of marriage, Lukas and Hannelore Schmidt catch up on their honeymoon. On the way to Rome they run out of gas and have to take a compulsory break. Lukas' wallet with all of his vacation pay is stolen from them by an allegedly helpful man.
For Hannelore, however, this situation also has its charm. She meets the charming Rossano Bertorelli. He is courting her while Lukas looks at the criminal record in the police station so that he can find his wallet.
The chaos finally takes its course when the American painter Kay falls in love with Lukas at first sight ...
criticism
The evangelical film observer succinctly describes the flick as a "comedy in grandpa cinema style", but also praises the actors: "The good leading actors make this parody of the customs of Teutonic vacationers abroad bearable."
Trivia
After Hallervorden had started the TV series Die Nervensäge (later Didi - The Subtenant) in the mid-1980s , the film was renamed and changed to A Nervensäge against all . Liselotte Pulver later wrote about the film: “No end of fuss. Too much hoax and too bad a script - you have to admit that critically in retrospect. "
DVD release
The film was released on DVD on September 4, 2006 by Turbine Media.
