The Schipper-Kids is a 10-part children's radio play series that was broadcast by Norddeutscher Rundfunk (NDR) in 1990 and 1991 .

Pia and Tim Roggendiek are the children of northern German barge operators and often go on board their parents' ship, the "Gode Lies". On their journeys across Germany, they are repeatedly involved in criminal cases. It is about arson, smuggling, pollution, doping and other crimes, but never about violent or capital crimes.
Others
The series was aimed at children and young people between the ages of 7 and 14. At a certain point in the play the plot was interrupted and the further progress of the events was discussed with invited listeners, so-called "studio inspectors", until the story continued to the end.
The individual episodes were broadcast once a month between January 1990 and May 1991, sometimes at longer intervals.
