production

The premiere of this production took place on December 8, 1973 in the Berlin Volksbühne . It was here that the performance of Pieter Hein's stage equipment and costumes in July 1975 was recorded. The first broadcast took place in the first program of the television of the GDR on August 12, 1975 in color.

criticism

Helmut Ullrich found in the Neue Zeit that this staging is brilliantly precise in terms of the meaningful, unmasking details. The actors were performed excellently and the stage set by Pieter Hein fits the style of the direction exactly.
