Susanne Düllmann

Susanne Düllmann (born February 29, 1928 in Brieg , Lower Silesia , † August 11, 2013 in Berlin ) was a German actress .

Life

Susanne Düllmann was trained as a classical dancer. After the end of the war she was engaged as such in Chemnitz before she moved to the Komische Oper Berlin to Walter Felsenstein , who cast her for the first time with a speaking role and also as a singer. From 1952 she took on her first film roles, for example in Slatan Dudow's " Frauenschicksale ". In line with her acting calling, she left the Komische Oper in 1956 to go to the Volksbühne Berlin . Fritz Wisten was the name of its first director at Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz, Frank Castorf its last. An artistic life with directors like Benno Besson , Fritz Marquardt , Manfred Karge , Matthias Langhoff and Christoph Marthaler . Her long-time partner and colleague Jürgen Rothert passed away voluntarily in 2007 at the age of 71.

She died at the age of 85 on August 11, 2013 and was buried in the Georgen-Parochial-Friedhof II as Susanne Seige-Düllmann.
