Dirk Ossig

Dirk Ossig (born June 14, 1971 in Husum ) is a German actor who is active in the cinema and television as well as in the theater .

Life

Ossig completed his acting studies from 1991 to 1994 at the Hamburg University of Music and Theater . From 1994 to 2001 he played at the Thalia Theater . From 2001 to 2002 he worked at the Schauspiel Frankfurt . He then belonged to the Berliner Ensemble . In 2007 he moved to the Bavarian State Theater in the Munich Residenztheater . From 2011 to 2015 he had an engagement at the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus . At these houses he worked with directors such as Robert Wilson , Jürgen Gosch , Thomas Langhoff , Peter Stein , George Tabori , Jürgen Flimm , Alfred Kirchner , Andrea Breth , Claus Peymann and Dieter Dorn .

Ossig had his first appearances as a television actor in 1997/98 in two ARD productions and in the ZDF series Adelheid and their murderers . In 2001 he worked in the docudrama Jud Suss - A film as a crime? With. From 2009 to 2013 he was a. a. seen in crime series such as Tatort , SOKO 5113 and The Public Prosecutor . In 2015 he played a supporting role in the VOX series Club of the Red Ribbons . In the literary film adaptation of Anne Frank's Diary , which was shot in spring 2015 and released in cinemas on March 3, 2016, Ossig plays the greengrocer Hendrik van Hoeve, who supplied the Jews hidden in the Amsterdam Secret Annex.
