Wendy 2 - Friendship Forever is a German children's film by Hanno Olderdissen , which, like the first part, is based on the horse magazine Wendy . The film was released on February 22, 2018.

action

Wendy is a young horse lover and lives with her parents Heike and Gunnar on Rosenborg, her grandma Herta's riding stable. The farm is facing financial ruin, however. Therefore, Wendy wants to take part in a big show jumping competition that is organized by the owner of the modern St. Georg riding stable. Wendy wants to use the prize money to save her grandmother's farm.

However, Wendy's horse Dixie is not a jumper. However, she gets the opportunity to ride Penny, a former competition horse that is mad at jumping. She realizes that she has to gain the horse's trust in order to introduce it to the tournament. For this she invests a lot of time and temporarily neglects Dixie.

"Endeavored to continue the story derived from the 'Wendy' booklet about a horse madwoman, in which the animals are allowed more space, but without the film getting beyond the hackneyed clichés of the genre."
