Getting married is not a solution either is a German television film by the director Sibylle Tafel from 2012 . When Lisbeth wants to take the coach back the next morning, she decides after a few kilometers to get off the car and travel back to Urbino to have a clarifying conversation with her daughter. However, she reacts anything but understanding to her mother's fears, who have not been able to speak well to men since her divorce. When Luca visits Fanny that night on her balcony after a discussion with Carla, he persuades her to follow him to his family's country house.

The next morning both mothers find orphaned beds. Carla suspects where the couple has gone and persuades Lisbeth to take her to the country house to prevent a wedding.
