André Dietz (born July 6, 1975 in Koblenz ) is a German actor , author and musician .

Life

Dietz has been on various stages since 1992, including the Koblenzer Kulturfabrik , the Koblenz City Theater, the Düsseldorf Free Stage and the Gloria Theater in Cologne . In 1996 he founded the comedy duo André and his friend Tobi with the director Tobi Baumann , which later developed into Das Nervensägemassaka , a rock'n'roll comedy show . Since 2000 he has been playing as Dirty Dietz with his current band, the Dirty Dietz Band , and is also part of the Go Music Session by and with Martin Engelien and other musicians. At the end of 2005 he was a co-author and played one of the leading roles in the play Zum Schängel , a theater production in the Koblenz culture factory.

Since 1997 he played the role of Gregor Sandmann in the RTL soap Unter uns for three years. This was followed by roles in Die Nesthocker , Die Wache , Ladyland , Hallo Robbie! , Coast Guard , Marie Brand , Veterinarian Dr. Mertens , Tatort , various appearances in the ZDF series SOKO Cologne and in smaller roles in the cinema: Engel & Joe , Der Wixxer , Vollidiot , Berlin 36 and Unter dir die Stadt . In the RTL series Everything was counts , Dietz started in a supporting role as ice hockey coach Ingo Zadek in June 2006, which was expanded to the main role (from episode 51).

On May 11, 2008, he took part in the VOX series The Perfect Celebrity Dinner . Also in 2008 he and Brigitte Nielsen won 85,000 euros for a good cause in a celebrity special at the 100,000 Euro Show . In the summer of 2010, Dietz shot the film A Dangerous Method with David Cronenberg on Lake Constance . In 2017 he took part in the vocal show It Takes 2 . The songs “Regen” and “Once again” by Dietz could be heard in the series Everything that counts . In April 2019, he and his wife Shari Dietz published the book Alles Liebe - Familienleben with a genetic defect , which stayed in the bestseller lists for several weeks. In it they tell of their family life with their daughter Mari's genetic defect . She has the rare Angelman Syndrome . Dietz is married to the author, journalist and blogger Shari Dietz. The two have three daughters and one son together. You have lived in Bergisch Gladbach since 2014 .
