The first Disney's Friends for Change Games took place from June 24th to July 31st, 2011. They were broadcast on the US Disney Channel and Disney XD and were hosted by Tiffany Thornton and Jason Earles . They took place at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex in Walt Disney World in Lake Buena Vista, Florida .
Teams
Four teams (red, blue, green and yellow) fought for different charities . Each team automatically won an amount of $ 125,000 , with the winning team receiving an additional $ 200,000 for their respective organization. The red team was supported by the WWF , the blue team by the Ocean Conservancy , the green team by the FFI and the yellow team by UNICEF .

After the competition
During the competitions there were various changes in the team composition:
- After the Red Team won the High Energy Dance Battle , they were allowed to steal a teammate from an opposing team . Roshon Fegan then switched from the blue to the red team.
- China Anne McClain, Doc Shaw, Doug Brochu and Ryan Ochoa were selected as MVPs in the second round of the competition. McClain then changed teams with Ochoa and Shaw with Brochu.
- In week three, China Anne McClain and Sierra McCormick were named captains of their respective teams for The Recycler competition . At the last competition, however, all teams were again led by their original captains.
- For the last competition, the Blue team received help from a secret teammate, Leo Howard .

2 | Wash out | The teams look for three items of clothing (shirt, pants and jacket) in their team color, then the teams wash and dry the clothes using a hand-operated washing machine and clothesline. 3 | The Recycler | One member of each team runs in a large hamster wheel and uses it to drive a conveyor belt that is filled with reusable objects. These objects must now be thrown into the correct wastebasket by the other players. | July 15-17, 2011 | Green team |

1 Since the yellow team and the green team did not complete the competition of the third week, they were disqualified from the last competition. For this they received zero points.
Online points
The fans were able to play games on the Internet and donate the points they gained to a team. The Red team won 38% of the points and received an additional $ 100,000 for their organization. The blue team won 24%, the yellow team received 20% and the green team received 18% of the points.
Concert for Hope
The Concert for Hope was a concert that took place at the end of the first Disney's Friends for Change Games . Allstar Weekend , the Jonas Brothers and Selena Gomez & the Scene performed, among others .
