The district of La Yarada Los Palos is located in the province of Tacna in the Tacna region in the extreme southwest of Peru . The district was established on November 7, 2015. He was removed from the existing Tacna district . The district has an area of ​​2320 km². The 2017 census counted 5,559 inhabitants. The seat of the district administration is Los Palos by the sea .

The district of La Yarada Los Palos is located in the south of the province of Tacna. The district extends over an approximately 25 km long section of the Pacific coast . The area in the coastal desert of southern Peru is being reclaimed with the help of artificial irrigation. Larger settlement areas are emerging. Urban centers are La Yarada and Los Palos.
