Dobropole (Wolin)

Dobropole (German Dobberphul ) is a village in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland . It belongs to the Gmina Wolin (Wollin municipality) in the Kamieński powiat (Camminer district) .

Geographical location

The village is located in Western Pomerania , about 50 km north of Stettin and about 12 km south of the district town of Cammin i. Pom . The Voivodship Road 107 runs through the village in a north-south direction , the course of which here corresponds to the former Reichsstrasse 165 .

history

Dobberphul was first mentioned in 1315.

Among the owners was a Paul Zastrow zu Stregow, who in 1469 owned a share in Dobberphul. Later Dobberphul belonged to members of the Pomeranian noble family Köller . In 1509 a Dietrich Köller was named. In the second half of the 18th century, Ernst Matthias von Köller built the manor house, a two-story half-timbered building. In 1827 Maximilian Friedrich von Köller united both shares in Dobberphul in his hand. In 1939 the Dobberphul estate was incorporated into a family foundation.

Dobberphul formed a rural community in the district of Cammin i. Pom. in the Prussian province of Pomerania . In the rural community, in addition to Dobberphul, the residential areas Grünhöfe and Vorwerk Wonneburg were run.

After the Second World War Dobberphul came to Poland, the place name was Polonized to "Dobropole". The residents were expelled and replaced by Poles .

Village church

The former village church was victim of a fire in 1742, as was part of the village. A half-timbered building with a low wooden tower was built as the new village church. The inventory included: An elaborate pulpit altar from 1742, in which parts of an old altar from around 1600 were built. A baptism from 1682, which came from the church of Jassow .

The village church was demolished after 1945.
