Lebrecht von Köller

Lebrecht Kurt von Köller (also Leberecht von Koeller; born January 9, 1861 in Dobberphul , Cammin district ; † May 27, 1933 in Wiesbaden ), was a German administrative lawyer .

Life

Origin and family

Köller came from a family that belonged to the Pomeranian nobility . His parents were Georg Ernst Maximilian von Köller , landlord on Kantreck , Siggelkow, Lüttmannshagen, Dischenhagen, Hammer and Schwanteshagen, and Maria Albertine Ida, née von Wurmb. His father was chairman of the Pomeranian Provincial Parliament , a member of the Prussian House of Representatives and a member of the Prussian State Council . He married Emma Anne Caroline Bloomfield, divorced Wellesley, daughter of Lord Augustus Loftus, in London on February 14, 1903 . There were no children from the marriage.

Career

Koller studied at the University of Heidelberg Law . In 1884 he passed the first legal state examination with success and was then sworn in as a court trainee.

From 1887 he was employed as a government trainee with the Wiesbaden government . Four years later he passed the second state examination in law. First professional experience gained Köller as Regierungsassessor the district administration Kassel place of birth, the police headquarters Hannover and the Government Koblenz . In 1895 Köller was initially appointed provisional and the following year the final district administrator of the Untertaunuskreis based in Langenschwalbach . He held this office until 1908. From 1899 to 1907 he was also a member of the Nassau Municipal Parliament in Wiesbaden and the Provincial Parliament of the Hesse-Nassau Province . There he worked for the finance, road construction and civil servants committee. Köller's mandate expired in 1908 as a result of his transfer.

In 1908 Köller was appointed government councilor and head of department at the Berlin police headquarters . Later he became a secret councilor with unchanged responsibilities . He retired in 1913, which he spent in Wiesbaden.

The first lieutenant in the reserve was an art collector .
