Rabiąż [ rabjąsz ] ( German Fernosfelde ) is a village in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship . The place belongs to the Gmina Wolin (city and rural community Wollin) in the Powiat Kamieński (Camminer district) .
Geographical location
The place is located in the interior of the island Wolin ( Wollin ) in Western Pomerania , about 8 km from the Pomeranian Bay belonging to the Baltic Sea . It is located 9 km east of Wolin ( Wollin ) and 16 km west of Kamień Pomorski ( Kammin ). The former colony now has 40 inhabitants.
history
Fernosfelde was founded as a colony in 1780 and assigned to the parish of Kolzow . According to the employee of the Pomeranian Folklore Archive and member of the Society for Pomeranian History and Antiquity, August Zöllner in 1782:
Christian Rix, colonist
Gottlieb Callin, colonist
Ernst Ziemer, colonist
Johann Zech, colonist
Daniel Haak, colonist
Braunschweig, colonist
Borkenhagen, musketeer
Glander, musketeer
Martin Pagel, leaseholder of the Dutch (parish in Kolzow), 1789
Soon more settlers came to Fernosfelde. In the Kolzower church book kept by the preacher Tobold, towards the end of the marriage register from 1800, there is a reference to the Fernosfeld owner Christian Wilhelm Grundich: The owner of Fernosfelde hl. Christiann Wilhelm Grundich, the son of a merchant from Neuwarß, has been publicly called up here three times with Mamesell Charlotta Louisa Wendelburgs, Kaufman's daughter from Wollin, the wedding takes place in Wollin.
In 1805, at the specified location under the serial number 20, there is a reference to the deceased hereditary tenant and owner Daniel Holze in Fernosfelde: On December 6th , as a Friday, Jacob David Krause is a young Coßäth in Neüendorff and the only honest son, Coßäthen Christiann Krause in Neüendorff, with the maid Beata Luisa Holzen, the deceased hereditary tenant and owner Daniel Holzen in Fernosfelde, after the youngest legitimate daughter, was married. Both are in their twenties and his parents have consented to the marriage.
The land register of the Duchy of Pomerania and the Principality of Rügen (1865) lists Fernosfelde, Colonie as a rural village within the jurisdiction of the Kammin District Court.
In 1928 the small town was incorporated into Rehberg . Fernosfelde was thus a place of residence in the municipality of Rehberg in the district of Usedom-Wollin in the province of Pomerania . In addition to this place of residence, there were two other places of residence in Rehberg, Bahnhof Rehberg and Rehberg. The community Rehberg belonged to the administrative district Kodram .
Fernosfelde has belonged to Poland since 1945 and was renamed "Rabiąż" by the commission for renaming the German place and field names after the German residents were expelled. In the period 1975-1998 the place was administratively part of the Szczecin Voivodeship .
