history

Ostromice was a village owned by the Flemming family as a fief. Around 1784 there were eight full farmers , one half farmer , two cottages , an inn, a smithy, a schoolmaster and a total of 25 households in Wustermitz . Wustermitz A with two farmers, one half-farmer and one kossaeter was owned by Major General Heinrich Ludwig von Flemming as an accessory to his estate Martenthin A. Wustermitz C belonged to the Land Marshal Carl Friedrich von Flemming. Wustermitz D belonged to Lieutenant Colonel Johann Ernst von Plötz .

The population of Wustermitz almost doubled between 1905 and 1939: 1905 = 271, 1910 = 286, 1933 = 510, 1939 = 473.
