Domenico Enrici
Domenico Enrici (born April 9, 1909 in Cervasca , Province of Cuneo , Italy ; † December 3, 1997 ) was a Roman Catholic Curia Archbishop and diplomat of the Holy See .
Life
Domenico Enrici received the sacrament of ordination for the diocese of Cuneo on June 29, 1933 .
On September 17, 1955, Pope Pius XII appointed him . the Titular Archbishop of Ancusa and ordered him to Apostolic Internuncio in Indonesia . The Archbishop of Milan , Giovanni Montini , donated him episcopal ordination on November 1st of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Cuneo, Giacomo Rosso , and the Bishop of Mondovì , Sebastiano Briacca .
On January 30, 1958, Domenico Enrici became Apostolic Nuncio in Haiti . Pope John XXIII appointed him on January 5, 1960 to the Apostolic Internuncio in Japan . On October 1, 1962, Enrici became an Apostolic Delegate in Australia . Pope Paul VI appointed him on April 26, 1969, as Apostolic Delegate to the United Kingdom . On July 16, 1973 Domenico Enrici became an official in the Vatican State Secretariat .
Enrici resigned on December 1, 1979 as an official in the Vatican State Secretariat.
Domenico Enrici participated in the first and third session of the Second Vatican Council .
