history
In 1116 Dreuschendorf was first mentioned as "Druskendorf" (village of companions). In 1492 it was completely destroyed in a feud between the Bamberg prince-bishop and the imperial barons Stiebar from Buttenheim. In the Thirty Years' War Dreuschendorf was destroyed again. The road through the village was already important for the passage over the Franconian Jura towards Ebermannstadt . This also applied to many pilgrimages to Gößweinstein .
On May 1, 1978, the place was incorporated into the municipality of Buttenheim.
church
Above the village, a small chapel was built in 1727 on the southern edge of the village . This was demolished in 1923. A new one was built in the center of the village in 1924 and consecrated in honor of St. Anne on September 28, 1924. On October 30th, Pastor Körber consecrated the new organ with five registers built by Volkmar Krätzer. On the occasion of its 75th anniversary, the chapel was renovated in 1999.
