Jungle of 1000 Dangers (Swiss Family Robinson) is an American Disney film by director Ken Annakin from 1960 based on the novel The Swiss Robinson by Johann David Wyss . The film premiered on December 10, 1960 in the USA. It was released in German cinemas on January 29, 1965.

Early 19th century: The Swiss Robinson family (parents and three sons) is shipwrecked and stranded on a deserted tropical island. The Robinsons have to deal with the dangers of nature and human attacks by pirates. They defend themselves against nature with ideas, pirates with cunning.
