Dsmitryj Sjarhejewitsch Miltschakou ( Belarusian Дзмітрый Сяргеевіч Мільчакоў , Russian Дмитрий Сергеевич Мильчаков / Dmitry Sergeyevich Milchakov; * 2. March 1986 in Minsk , Byelorussian SSR ) is a Belarusian ice hockey player who since 2016 again at Yunost Minsk in Belarusian Extraliga is under contract.

Career

Dzmitryj Milchakou began his career as a hockey player in the youth department of the top Swedish club MODO Hockey , where he was active until 2002. Then the goalkeeper returned to his Belarusian homeland, where he was under contract for HK Junost Minsk in the extra league in the 2002/03 season before spending three years with their league rivals HK Dinamo Minsk . From 2006 to 2008 he played for HK Wizebsk before he stood between the posts for HK Homel and HK Brest in the extra league for a season .

For the 2010/11 season , Milchakou moved to Metallurg Schlobin in the extra league , where he immediately developed into one of the best goalkeepers in the extra league. In the 2011/12 season he won the Belarusian championship title with Metallurg Schlobin . He himself was voted the best goalkeeper in the Extraliga.

Between 2013 and 2016 he was under contract with HK Dinamo Minsk in the Continental Hockey League and was temporarily continued (on loan) with Metallurg.

International

For Belarus , Milchakou took part in the junior division in the U18 Junior World Championships in 2003 and 2004 , the U20 Junior World Championships in Division I in 2004 and 2006 and the U20 Junior World Championship in 2005 . In the senior sector, he was in his country's squad at the 2008 , 2011 and 2012 World Championships .
