Dutch Basketball League is the league that is organized by the Federatie Eredivisie basketball clubs and represents the top division in the Dutch men's basketball club . The professional league has been called the Dutch Basketball League since 2010 for marketing reasons . The FEB organizes the league's game operations in cooperation with the national basketball association Nederlandse Basketball Bond (NBB) and is a member of the European league association ULEB . The league has been playing as a closed league for several years without a relegation regulation, so participating teams have to apply for a license. If the economic basis is insufficient, the license can also be withdrawn.
mode
The teams will play a double round in the round-robin tournament ( English Round Robin ), so that if his current occupation of the league with ten teams, each team initially 36 season games has passed. With the increase in the league to ten teams since 2012, the eight best-placed teams will then play in play-off series, with the placements in the main round deciding the pairings and home rights.
