Enem ( Russian Энем , Adyghe Инэм ) is an urban-type settlement in Rajon Takhtamukay the Republic of Adygea in Russia . The place has 17,890 inhabitants (as of October 14, 2010) and is located on Europastraße 115 .

history

The hamlet of Enem was founded in 1890 and developed quickly in connection with the opening of the Yekaterinodar  - Novorossiysk railway that passed there . Since the 1960s, another railway line branches off from this not far from the village via Gorjatschi Klyuch to Tuapse . A second major train station was built near the site, and Enem received urban-type settlement status on November 17, 1967.
