Ebro is a city in Washington County in the US state of Florida with 270 inhabitants (as of 2010).

Ebro is about 50 km southwest of Chipley and about 170 km west of Tallahassee . It is bordered by the Choctawhatchee River to the west and the Pine Log State Forest to the south .

Demographic data

According to the 2010 census, the 270 inhabitants at that time were distributed over 112 households. The population density was 32.9 inh / km². 84.1% of the population identified themselves as white, 1.1% as African American , 5.6% as Native American and 0.4% as Asian Americans . 8.9% said they belonged to several ethnic groups. 2.6% of the population was made up of Hispanics or Latinos .

In 2010 children under the age of 18 lived in 30.5% of all households and persons aged 65 and over lived in 26.7% of all households. 69.5% of households were family households (consisting of married couples with or without offspring or one parent with offspring). The average household size was 2.57 people and the average family size was 2.92 people.

26.0% of the population were younger than 20 years, 24.9% were 20 to 39 years old, 31.5% were 40 to 59 years old, and 17.9% were at least 60 years old. The mean age was 40 years. 51.9% of the population were male and 48.1% were female.

The median annual income was $ 40,714, with 27.7% of the population living below the poverty line.

In 2000, English was the mother tongue of 100% of the population.
