The Eckberthütte is a refuge of the Austrian Alpine Club at 1140  m above sea level. A. Höhe in the Blühnbachtal between the Hagengebirge and the Hochkönig . It is run as a self-catering hut and is supervised by the hut warden from mid-May to the end of October; During this time, registered mountaineers can also spend the night here (no DAV key, consultation with the hut warden required). The Eckberthütte is located in a secluded corner of the Berchtesgaden Alps on the Salzburger Land side in the Blühnbachtal (near Tenneck), which is privately owned.

Access

From Tenneck in the valley of the Salzach through the Blühnbachtal the hut can be reached in 4 hours of walking. It is an easy path that is also suitable as a forest road for mountain bikes.
