Eicken is a district of Mönchengladbach . It belongs to the northern district . In the Eickener road there are many listed buildings.

Sports

The Gasthaus Zum Jägerhof on Alsstrasse in the district is the birthplace of the Borussia Mönchengladbach football club .

Several monuments in the pedestrian zone remind of the successful time of the club, including the Borussia fountain by Bonifatius Stirnberg and the former players Günter Netzer , Berti Vogts and Herbert Wimmer as bronze figures and a stone football.
