The 1983/84 season was the 24th season of the Eredivisie , the highest Dutch ice hockey division . The Nijmegen Tigers became champions for the first time in the club's history .

In the main round, each of the six teams played a total of ten games. All six teams qualified for the playoff semi-finals, the three winners of which played off the champions in a final round. Each team received two points for a win, one point for a draw and zero points for a defeat.
