The Lehbach , called Frohnbach or also Spalbach on the left main course upper course , is a right tributary of the Ruwer in the Trier-Saarburg district in Rhineland-Palatinate .
course
The Frohnbach rises in the Osburger Hochwald on the southern slope of the Rösterkopf , about 1.7 km southwest of its 708.2 m above sea level. NHN high summit and thus less than a kilometer west of the Ruwer headwaters. It flows quite steeply down the slope to the south, at the edge of the forest at the foot of which it turns to the southwest after less than two and a half kilometers. Between the holiday village of Hochwald and the Fronhof (!) Of Kell am See , it soon flows below 475 m above sea level. NHN in the approximately 13 hectare large basement reservoir .
This has a second tributary in the Ellersbach (also Kreidbach ), which runs down southwards from a saddle between Rösterkopf and a western foothill, right at the beginning flows through a high moor , with 3.5 km it is slightly longer than the Frohnbach up to here and on the west side of the Feriendorf Hochwald flows into the lake in a smaller bay.
The Frohnbach flows out of the lake to the southwest, runs through the grounds of a camping site with a swimming pool and is then crossed by the L 142 Kell– Schillingen . Immediately after this street it unites with the Marscheider Bach or Gondersbach coming from the northwest - both are names of upper courses that are also used for the common lower course - to the Lehbach . This keeps the south-westerly inlet direction of the Frohnbach for the still missing almost third of the total course, passes the Schillingermühle and then flows into Niederkell at about 428 m above sea level. NHN from the right into the upper Ruwer .
