The place can be reached by a narrow street from Stalden and by the aerial cableway from Kalpetran .

Kalpetran quartzite
In the village of Embd, a green slab of quartzite was commercially mined on Wäng from 1945 to 1993 , which has a prominent role in regional architecture . He is also after his place of loading Kalpetran , a district of Embd and stop on the Brig-Visp-Zermatt , as Kalpetranquarzit known. The first concessionaire was the mountain guide and entrepreneur Erwin Lochmatter .
