Emil Zenetti
Emil Zenetti (born May 16, 1883 in Lauingen ; † June 23, 1945 in Bad Kohlgrub ) was a German officer , most recently a general of the Luftwaffe anti-aircraft cartillery in World War II .

Zenetti joined the 10th field artillery regiment of the Bavarian Army in Erlangen on July 18, 1903 as a flag junior . After successfully attending the Munich War School , he was promoted to lieutenant on March 8, 1905 . From October 1907 to the end of June 1908 Zenetti was commanded for further training at the artillery and engineering school , was a departmental adjutant from October 1910 and rose as a first lieutenant to regimental adjutant in October 1913 .
Zenetti remained in this position during the First World War until January 24, 1917. He then switched to the 3rd Field Artillery Brigade as an adjutant , but on March 4, 1917, he was promoted to an artillery staff officer at the 6th Army High Command . On May 25, 1918 Zenetti was department commander in the 8th field artillery regiment "Prince Heinrich of Prussia" , where he remained until December 23, 1918 after the end of the war.
After a stay in the hospital from December 23, 1918 to January 3, 1919, Zenetti became battery commander in the 10th Field Artillery Regiment on January 4, 1919. He held the same function from June 1, 1919 when he was accepted into the Provisional Reichswehr until the end of 1920 in the Reichswehr Artillery Regiment 24. With effect from January 1, 1921, Zenetti rose to the position of battery chief in the 7th (Bavarian) Artillery Regiment . From April 1923 to September 1927 he then served in the staff of Artillery Leader VII and then from October 1927 to mid-January 1931 as head of the gas protection courses for the artillery inspection. On January 15, 1931, Zenetti was posted to the Reichswehr Ministry, where he served as a consultant from May 1931 to the end of February 1934.
On March 1, 1934, he then transferred to the Air Force, where Zenetti was deployed to the staff of the Higher Aviation Office in Berlin until the end of March 1935 . This was followed by his use in the staff of Luftkreis-Kommando II, also in Berlin, until September 1936. On October 1, 1936, Zenetti was appointed commander in Luftgau 15, based in Stuttgart . Subsequently, on July 1, 1938, Zenetti was appointed commanding general and commander of Luftgaus VII in Munich. He held this position until September 1, 1944 and was transferred to the Führerreserve . During this time, Zenetti fell seriously ill and died of the consequences of the disease after the end of the war on June 23, 1945 in the Luftwaffe hospital in Bad Kohlgrub .
In Fürstenfeldbruck today the Zenettistraße leads to the air base, where u. a. the Air Force Officer's School is located.
